The Restaurant At 1900

Restaurant Bar

Following the extensive renovation of the 1900 Building, the owner sought to add an upscale, modern dining experience called The Restaurant at 1900 along Shawnee Mission Parkway, near the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. Square One Studio was enlisted to bring the architect’s drawings to life in the form of a statement-making contemporary bar at the entrance of the restaurant. Using high-quality materials, we built a stylish bar that reflects the exacting standards of this James Beard Award semifinalist restaurant.

Architect: Perspective Architecture + Design

Contractor: Jonkman Construction

Materials Used: Walnut veneer, quartz countertop, quartz and polished stainless steel for back bar, polished stainless steel footrail

Services Provided: Square One Studio worked collaboratively with the design firm to create a beautiful and functional bar. We captured the field dimensions of the space, sourced the materials, and created the AutoCAD drawings to instruct our equipment and craftspeople how to precisely cut the veneer panels and quartz pieces so they could be installed in the restaurant.
